What "free" means here: every course, guide, quiz and certificate of completion on this page costs nothing. Only two things carry a price anywhere in this pack, flagged where they appear: the CCA-F certification exam ($99 at general availability) and the Claude subscription you'll need to practise with Cowork or Claude Code itself. We've excluded paid courses entirely.

Anthropic Academy (all free)

Anthropic Academy launched in March 2026 at anthropic.skilljar.com and is the single best place to learn Claude. Every course is free, needs only an email address, and awards an official Anthropic certificate for LinkedIn. Courses mix short videos, hands-on exercises and quizzes; the whole catalogue takes roughly 18–22 hours end to end.

Anthropic launched its first professional certification in March 2026. It's a proctored, closed-book exam delivered via Skilljar with Pearson VUE as the exam partner, testing five domains: agentic architecture, tool design and MCP, Claude Code configuration, prompt engineering, and context management. It was free for the first 5,000 Anthropic Partner Network employees; general pricing is $99. Further tiers (seller, developer, advanced architect) are planned for later in 2026.

Honest note for our non-technical readers: the CCA-F leans technical. The free Academy certificates of completion (every course above) are the right goal for most business users; the CCA-F is the stretch goal if you want a formal credential. All preparation material is free on the Academy.

How to prepare (all free): work through Claude Code 101, Claude Code in Action, both MCP courses and Building with the Claude API, matching each course against the five exam domains as you go. The exam weights agentic architecture and Claude Code configuration most heavily, so spend real hands-on time in Claude Code rather than only watching the videos. Budget three to four weeks of part-time study if you're coming from a non-developer background, one to two if you already build with the API.
